Born August 27, 1949, in Dothan, AL, Lavinia Anne Daniel was the third and final child born to James Nixon Daniel and Villeta Emily McGeachy.
She married William ("Bill") Heaton, who was a Baptist minister. They had three children: Leann (), Wesley(), and David (1983).
