Lucy died December 26, 1926, in Deland, FL, at the age of 29.

Vivian Daniel (1894-1985)
Vivian Daniel was born on September 7, 1894, in Chipley, FL, to James Nixon Daniel and Octavia Lavinia Langley. As a young woman, Vivian taught college in Chipley, FL.
Vivian married Reuben Arthur McGeachy and they initially settled in Milton, FL. They had three daughters: Octavia Langley, Charlotte Howell, and Lucy Mary. Vivian and Reuben later moved their family back to Chipley.
Reuben died in 1953 at the age of 71. Vivian moved to Pensacola, FL, to be closer to her adult children, where she died on April 7, 1985, at the age of 90.

The first James Nixon Daniel was born on May 13, 1852, in Campbellton, FL, to Josiah Daniel and Sarah Ann Callaway. The baby of the family, he grew up in Marianna (Jackson County), FL. His father died when he was young, so he and his six older siblings helped their mother work the family farm. As a young man, Nixon worked in Marianna as a grocery merchant.
Octavia Lavinia Langley was born on July 31, 1872, in Orange Hill, FL, to Thomas Edward Langley and Lavinia Ann Norwood. She also grew in Jackson County.
James and Octavia were married on June 10, 1891, at the First Baptist Church in Chipley, FL. They settled in Chipley and had three children: James Nixon (1892), Vivian (1894), and Lucy (1897).
James died on December 16, 1897, in Chipley, FL, at the young age of 45.
After his death, Octavia remained in Chipley and later remarried to a local attorney, Daniel James Jones, in December of 1912. They, too, resided in Chipley, where Daniel became a judge.
Octavia died on October 30, 1957, in Panama City, FL, at the age of 85.

John Ronald McGeachy was born in Lumberton, NC, in February of 1872 to Alexander C. McGeachy and Charlotte H. He grew up in Howellsville, NC.
Atta Foxie Helms was born in October of 1875 in Alabama to M.W. Helms and Emily Richards.
John and Foxie married and settled in Chipley, FL. They had 7 children: Ruth (1902), John Ronald Jr. (1903), Villeta Emily (1905), Atta Kathleen (1907), Robert A. (1909), Virginia (1912), and Mary (1914). John worked as a dry goods merchant (storekeeper) at a general store in Chipley.
